I’m Kaitlyn Sirico, a Union County parent to 6 and small business owner, running for School Board in District 3. I am running as a write-in candidate.

Why am I running?

Through my own interactions I was ignored and placated for years over a safety issue at my kids' school. I didn't want other families and staff to feel the same way! I’m running for School Board because I believe strong schools are built through support, transparency, and listening. When educators feel respected and families feel informed, students succeed.

Student Success 

Every student deserves the opportunity to thrive. As mom of children with special needs I understand that not all children are built the same 

  • Safe, supportive learning environments

  • Attention to academic, social, and emotional needs

  • Policies that support the whole child

  • Preparing students for life beyond the classroom

Support for Teachers & Staff

Strong schools start with the people in the classrooms.

  • Listening to educators and staff by having town halls

  • Advocating for the resources they need to succeed

  • Supporting retention, morale, and professional respect

  • Ensuring teachers feel heard in decision-making

Transparency & Accountability

Families deserve to understand how decisions are made.

  • Clear communication from the School Board

  • Open access to information and policies such as making the budget public. 

  • Explaining the “why” behind decisions

  • Asking tough questions about spending
